In the MAIA program at CSULB, you’ll gain the tools to navigate today’s most pressing global challenges through applied, interdisciplinary learning. The curriculum is designed to give you practical, career-ready skills in policy analysis, project management, global systems, and budgeting. Analyze complex global systems and policy frameworks, build skills in budgeting, project management, and program evaluation, and explore the intersection of migration, identity, and international law.
This 18-month program includes 12 months in residence, followed by a carefully placed internship with courses taken in residence or online. In addition, you’ll put your learning into action with a capstone project that connects theory to hands-on experience.
